Jonathan Taylor - BDS Newcastle 1980

I have been in General Dentistry in Marlborough since 1982.  My special interests are in; Implantology – see details in Implants section of treatments. “Cerec” – amalgam-free dentistry with high quality ceramics, and Power Whitening – with our new “Zoom” system. I am really amazed how quickly dentistry has changed with new technology, much of which we have incorporated into the practice, but old fashioned gum disease is still the hidden threat. Away from work I am a gardener and traveller.  As I am now too old to play a lot of sports, exercising our dogs keep me fit and I try to keep up with my five children.

Judith Denning - BDS MFGDP Birmingham 1985

My name is Judith Denning. I trained as a dentist at Birmingham Dental School and began my career working in hospitals. Oral surgery was all very exciting but the hours were awful, so I moved into general practice, and came to Marlborough in 1990. I absolutely love the variety of work in General Dental Practice. I enjoy all areas of dental care but in particular have an interest in treatment of the very nervous. I’m a people person enjoy meeting and chatting with my patients   I am married with two children both attending local schools. I like walking and sailing. I am also learning to play the piano as I promised my grandmother I would when she left me her piano. I’ve passed my Grade III exam and must admit, in many ways, it was more nerve-wracking than any exam I’ve taken as a dentist.

Tony Russell - BDS Bristol 1971

I have been in general dental practice in Wiltshire for 35 years, and in Marlborough now for 15 years.  I have seen a multitude of changes over the years, but would never have imagined the technology that we now have available to care for our patients. It has been known for me to break into song whilst treating patients – hence my nickname “The Singing Dentist”.  I am a father of three boys, and now a grandfather to a boy and a girl.  My interests are in walking, real ale, and of course rugby!
